"Since the end of the RSI on January 1, 2018, you're automatically affiliated to the CPAM, the Social Security for employees.


If you have been an auto-entrepreneur since 2019 you are directly affiliated with Health Insurance and will be attached to the CPAM. You're no longer attached to the Social Security for the Self-Employed. Your CPAM will refund your care, pay daily allowances, pay disability pensions, and open your rights to CMU-C. You can benefit from the same online services as an employee by opening an account at ameli.fr.
If you are a self-employed entrepreneur before January 1, 2019, the transfer to the Assurance Maladie will only take place in 2020. This year, you are still be attached to the Sécurité Sociale des Indépendants and refunded for health care by your conventional organization.
